생각을 깊이 할 수 있는 사람이 되고 싶다.

대화를 나눌 때에 상대방이 말하는 내용을 잘 귀담아 듣고, 말하고자 하는 의도를 잘 헤아리며, 적절한 반응을 하는 사람이 되고 싶다.

울림이 있는 글을 쓰는 사람이 되고 싶다.

그래서

생각과 관련된 책이 있으면 끌린다.

이 책에서 가장 좋았던 것은

업(業)이란 내가 이 세상에서 온 이유이자 하늘이 내린 사명이고,

기업(企業)이런 업을 만들어내는 것이라고 설명한 것이다.

두 번째는

관찰은 안에서 밖을 보는 것이며,

성찰은 밖에서 안을 보는 것이고,

통찰은 이 두 가지를 넘나드는 것이라는 설명이었다.

세 번째는

편견은 내가 다른 사람을 사랑하지 못하게 하고,

오만은 다른 사람이 나를 사랑할 수 없게 만든다.

가장 신선한 표현은

"본질과 결혼하고, 익숙함과의 이혼"

알지 못했던 것을 아는 기쁨과

내가 쓸 수 없었던 표현을 만난 것이다.

I want to become a person who can think deeply. When having a conversation, I want to be someone who listens carefully to what the other person is saying, understands their intentions, and responds appropriately. I want to be a person who writes resonant text. Therefore, I'm drawn to books about thinking.

The best part of this book was the explanation that one's vocation (業) is the reason they are in this world and a mission given by the heavens, and that a corporation (企業) is about creating such vocations.

The second point was about observation being the act of looking from the inside out, reflection being the act of looking from the outside in, and insight being the ability to move between these two perspectives.

The third point was that prejudice prevents one from loving others, and arrogance makes it impossible for others to love them.

The freshest expression was "marrying the essence and divorcing the familiar." It was the joy of learning something unknown and encountering expressions I could not have written myself.
